The Knights of RenIt is known: The one who holds the books controls the tide of war. But they are scattered across the five kingdoms, hidden from the black mages who would speak their secrets aloud and shatter the fragile peace of the empire. Ren is one such mage, determined to hunt down the texts and gain control of the land. He is sure nothing can stand in his way—until he meets the girl who does.
Ben didn't start writing Knights of Ren expecting it to become an international sensation. It was a way to explore what hadn't happened: the what-ifs of a life unlived, and everything he wished he'd done differently. It was a way to pass the time in prison, those four long years away from the world—a blessing in disguise, if he was being honest with himself. And it was the letter he never actually sent: an accounting. An apology. An affirmation of his love for her.
The Knights of Ren is written by Juliet, drawn by Rad, colored by Rikke and Mads, and based on a story by Bethany.
Be the VerseBe the Verse is a project Rad and Juliet have been dreaming up since they met. They'd both wanted to create a webcomic for years, and their partnership — combining Juliet’s words and Rad's art — made it possible. The Knights of Ren is the first of what they hope will be many creative collaborations, known collectively as Be the Verse.
